General comment EFA-Füller S-MA is certified according to EN 450-1 and fullfills the requirements of EN197-1. Hard coal fly ash is a fine-grained pozzolanic binder consisting essentially of SiO2 and Al2O3. The content of reactive SiO2 is at least 25% by mass. Hard coal fly ash is produced as a combustion residue during coal-fired power generation. It is separated from the flue gases by electric filters. The composition of the coal fly ash results from the types of coal used and ranges from residual carbon and minerals to trace elements. EFA-Füller S-MA is produced as a mixture between fly ash EFA-Füller D4 (Datteln power plant, Block 4) and fly ash BM-Füller Scholven (Scholven power plant). The mixing plant operated by BauMineral is located at the area of Scholven power plant. |
